Palaces, Cookies and Lights

Back to the beginning of Mom and Dad's visit... we went to the Mafra Palace just North of Lisbon. None of us had been there before so it was fun for all of us to see a new place. Later that week our friends came over and made us a wonderful Portuguese dinner, arroz de camarão (Shrimp rice), it was SOOO good! After dinner we made Christmas cookies and all the girls helped decorate them. There were sprinkles everywhere:) and lots of really cute and yummy cookies!

The next few days we did lots of Christmas shopping and took one evening to head down to the Baixa for more shopping, seeing the sights and all the lights. Thankfully the rain stayed away long enough to let us enjoy the evening. And yes, there are several camera contributing...
