Christmas Time

Our first Christmas present arrived a week early... Umma and Babu are here!!!

We are SO happy to see them, to celebrate Christmas with them here with us and to show them around! Here we are down in the Baixa doing some last minute Christmas shopping.

Thankful

Since I missed Thanksgiving completely I think I will start December with a Thankful list...

I am Thankful...

1. It is December which means my Mom and Dad arrive THIS MONTH! 16 days!

2. For better or worse, my language test is OVER!

3. Friends, they are here there and everywhere but I am so thankful for the women I call friends!

4. My apartment, this is our first winter in our new apartment and it is SO much easier to get and keep this house warm!

5. Bon Jovi. Yes you read that correctly! If there is ever a movie made of my life Bon Jovi will have to make several appearances on the soundtrack AND I have tickets to see them live this summer.

6. My girls... they keep life exciting, they challenge me and inspire me.

7. My Mark, my soulmate. I love the life we have built and look forward to the adventures yet to come...

8. Lisbon, I LOVE living in this city! The people, the charm the beauty... so many things I love about living here!

9. Airplanes, well really who they will bring to me and who and where they will take me to... hopefully we will have several airplane encounters before this time next year!

10. Christmas. Focusing on Jesus coming to this earth to save us from ourselves, arriving as an innocent baby... our HOPE!
