Sahara's birthday was actually before Tirza's but we had Tirza's party first. Sahara wanted to have a big girl party this year and just invite a few girlfriends to go to the movies with her. It was so much fun and she got to enjoy celebrating with her 5 sweet friend. We got up that morning and let her open presents and enjoy the day. Then one of her friends and I rode the bus to the movie theater (the girls still think public transportation is a blast, wish I shared their enthusiasm). We meet her other friends at the theater and after loading up on popcorn and soda we enjoyed the new Nannie McPhee movie. After the movie Mark and the other girl met us with snacks and CUPCAKES!
Sahara's 5 friends are all from different places, one friend is from school, one was our neighbor at our old apartment, one is American from our team here and the other little girl we met through another friend. Just goes to show that my little social butterfly can make friends anywhere and everywhere she goes!
I can't believe that Sahara is 10 years old, time has flown by since she was born! Double didgets, crazy I remember turning 10 and what a big deal it was for me. Now my baby is double didgets too! Happy Birthday Sahara Marie!
