Festa da Escola 2010

The girls had their end of year program yesterday afternoon. It was a BLAST! Cute, hilarious and fun from start to finish. The teachers do such a good job making up the programs and teaching the kids the songs, dances and their parts. So well done so sweet!!!

This year's theme was basically stories with a twist, they rewrote old famous stories, very cute!

Tirza's class did Peter Pan and Tirza was a dancing fairy, she was SO proud of her pretty little self. Bria's class did a story about a little beetle (Carochinha) that gets rich and looks for husband, Bria is one of the Carochinha. I didn't know she was going to be singing part of her lines, she did so good!!! Sahara is a finalista this year, big stuff!!! Their school only goes through 4th grade so she is graduating from O'Poeta this year. So her class had several parts in the program... they started it off with a song and dance about being at O'Poeta, then they received diplomas, then sang the O'Poeta song for us and then later in the program redid several old fairy tales. Sahara is Little Red Riding Hood's Mother, she did great at her part.

It was just an adorable program start to finish!!! Unfortunately our camera is refusing to actually take a normal picture anymore (donations welcome) but we managed a few shots and some video so you can get a good idea of all the fun!
